Changes coming to your Shakeology starting 7/12

You may notice your Shakeology looks different beginning 7/12. As Beachbody is committed to providing the finest product available they are constantly testing the ingredients for quality. Let me know if you notice a difference when it arrives.

As original formulator and co-creator of Shakeology, it is important to me, as well as to Beachbody, that the ingredients in Shakeology are always of the highest quality. We are constantly undergoing testing and research on our current formulas to ensure that we are giving you the best of the best in every shake you drink. This year, after extensive qualitative analysis of our ingredients, we have decided to remove a few that were just not making the cut. We have removed Amaranth and Tulsi, due to our concerns about the ability to source consistently efficacious supplies of each. However, we have replaced these ingredients with more of the proteins and adaptogens that are still top notch in our formula, so no nutritional benefit is lost.
Also, after a thorough internal risk assessment and recommendation from our Scientific Advisory Board, we have decided to remove acai due to its links with Chagas disease. Although our specific form of acai did not raise concern, there is a risk associated with the oral consumption of acai and Beachbody thought it prudent to remove it from Shakeology. Again, we made sure to increase our other superfruits to ensure that no nutritional benefits were lost. I wanted to give you a heads up on these changes that are starting to take place July 10th, so if you notice your bag of Shakeology is different—that is why. I thank you for understanding how important making constant changes to Shakeology to improve its quality is.
